Women of Purpose invites all women to attend a technology seminar. If you find AI a little mysterious and intimidating, or that you're being left behind, you won't want to miss "Women, Wisdom, and AI: Learning Together" presented by Taliyah Harvey on Sunday, August 9, from 11:45AM to 1:30PM at the JCC in E-104. Please bring your WIFI-enabled device with you (phone, tablet, or laptop).
Taliyah Harvey is a rising Senior at the USC Iovine and Young Academy, majoring in Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation. This summer, she's joining Salesforce as a Software Engineering Intern.
Beyond the classroom, Taliyah serves as Vice President of the Black Business Student Association at USC, where she helps drive initiatives that support Black students pursuing business and entrepreneurship. She's also an undergraduate member and Historian of the Iota Beta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she helps preserve and share the chapter's history and achievements. In her free time, she enjoys golfing.

Justice & Compassion and Women Of Purpose are teaming up to impact students for the upcoming school year with back packs and school supplies. Collections begin on Sunday, July 5 and go through 26. For more info about the supplies we're collecting (click here) and how you can help with assembly, stop by our table in the JCC lobby before or after service.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY:
“When You Pray”
Wednesdays, SEPTEMBER 9–OCTOBER 28 | Zoom | 7–8:30PM
Do you have trouble thinking of words to say to God when you pray? Are you afraid some emotions are too intense to express to God? Do you reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. Prayer is the way we relate to God, but sometimes it’s a struggle. Throughout God’s Word, we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray.
Save the date for our next Women's Bible Study. "When You Pray: A Study Of Six Prayers In The Bible" meets on Wednesdays, from 7–8:30PM via ZOOM beginning September 9 through October 28.
In this 7-session study, join with six beloved Bible teachers who will help you study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Above all, you’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As you draw near to God through prayer, you’ll find your faith strengthened and your heart united to Christ.
