After a prolonged season of vetting, preparation and seeking God, the elders of ALCF are presenting Glenn Posein and Trevor Speech to the community of Abundant Life for any thoughtful feedback you may have on their qualifications for the office of elder. The Scriptures teach that elders—while hardly perfect—should be above reproach (I Timothy 3:2); they should be of outstanding character. If you know of any reason why either man is not fit for the office of elder, please email your response, including you name, using the button below. We also invite you to list any encouragements you may have of either candidate.
Glenn and his two siblings grew up in southern California under the pastoral care of Chuck Swindoll at EVFree Fullerton.
He studied criminal justice at California State University, Los Angeles, where he earned a scholarship to play baseball and proceeded to help the Golden Eagles win the CCAA championship.
Passionate about business and technology, Glenn moved from Los Angeles to Silicon Valley in 2001. He became a member of ALCF in 2006, where he currently serves on the Global Missions team.
He and his wife, Kellie, have been married since 2005. They are Bible Study Fellowship regulars, love to serve others, travel and entertain.
Trevor is a construction management professional for a leading healthcare organization.
As a member of ALCF for over 20 years, Trevor has served in a variety of ministries, including 7 years as a volunteer youth leader, a men's small-group facilitator, and an occasional choir participant.
Trevor earned a BA in Management & Ethics/Bible & Theology from William Jessup University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
In addition to traveling abroad with his wife Marcella, he enjoys home improvement projects, martial arts training, business books, science fiction movies, off-road vehicles, Golden State Warriors basketball and spending time with friends and family.
