Praise Team

Here at ALCF, our praise and worship is considered a vital part of our weekend services. Our team of worship leaders facilitate our expression of worship through a blend of musical styles. To serve on the ALCF Praise Team, one must have a passion for worship, exceptional vocal talent, and faithful participation in an ALCF choir for at least six months. Audition is required for participation.

Ministry

Team members are scheduled for weekend ministry by the Worship Minister, usually twice monthly. Ministry weekend consists of services on Saturday at 4:30PM, and Sunday at 8:30AM and 11AM. Praise and Worship starts 10 minutes early each service.


Rehearsals

Team rehearses the Wednesday prior to weekend scheduled, from 7:30-9:30PM. (Once a month rehearsal is moved to Tuesday due to Night of Worship).


Requirements

+ We are looking for vocalists with the ability to harmonize and carry a part within an ensemble
+ Have a born again experience and live a life in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ 
+ Be a member of ALCF (having attended the Exploring Membership class)
+ Faithfully attend the services of ALCF for at least 6 months, or provide references
+ Faithfully participate in an ALCF Choir for at least 6 months (vocalists only)
+ Be at least 18 years old 
+ Be vitally committed to serving the Lord through music ministry at ALCF
+ Attend ALL choir rehearsals leading up to a ministry weekend
+ Sing in ALL ministry weekend services that the Praise Team is scheduled
+ Punctuality: Team members are required to be on-time for all rehearsals and services
+ Preparedness: Team members are required to learn the music assigned through personal study and rehearsal (in addition to team rehearsals)
