ALCF is helping send teams of physicians and nurses every 3rd week of the month to Haiti, recruited by ALCF member Dr. Enoch Choi, MD and coordinated by Jordan International Aid (JIA) which Dr. Choi is the Medical Director of.  The April trip is 4/13 - 4/25.  May is 5/14 - 5/23.  Interested MDs & RNs can email enochchoi@gmail.com

Here are some examples of the ongoing need for relief funds to provide critical help to those in Haiti (accomplishments in parentheses)

$25,000 sends a team for one week to save countless lives (sent 2 teams so far)
$3,500 for a chlorinator for clean water for thousands of survivors on ongoing basis (TeleHelp.org and JIA installed 3 so far)
$2,000 to send one MD since there are MDs willing to go but can't afford the expense
$500 for 1 week for one physician's medications to dispense
$400 for 1 WECARE solar suitcase with panels donated by EverbrightSolar.com (sent 2 so far)
$100 for a tent (sent 1 so far)
$50 for a 20’ x 25' blue poly tarp
$25 for 1 Bogo solar flashlight (sent 100 so far)
$1.60 per person for a week of food for those starving in Carrefour (JIA has fed thousands since day 5 after earthquake)
$0.01 per plastic bag to fill with our chlorinated water to give to those dehydrated in Carrefour (JIA slaked thirst of
thousands)
