Ways to Volunteer at NCHM: 

 

Assist with childcare

  • During weekly parenting class (Tuesdays from 6:15 - 8:00 p.m. (approximately 25 children)
  • During weekly Bible Study (Mondays from 6:20 - 7:45 p.m. (approximately 5-7 children)
  • Be on call for childcare needs as they come up, especially on evenings and weekend so teen mothers can study or work 

 

 

 

 

 Provide dinner for a parenting class

  • Individuals/groups can help by making and/or delivering dinner for Tuesday night parenting classes. Dinners should feed 12-15 adults, and can be delivered by arrangement anytime before 5:30 p.m. 

 

 

 

 Ways ALCF Partners with NCHM:

  • Baby wipe and diaper donation drives held in May for residents of NCHM
  • ALCF's visual media team produced a promotional video for NCHM
  • ALCF donates gift cards for NCHM program residents and participants at Christmas
  • Provides financial support to help cover operational expenses
  • ALCF members help with life-skills training, parenting classes, home supervision and childcare
