YOUR FAMILY MATTERS! In a culture that often de-values family life and undermines God's design for marriage and parenting, ALCF Marriage and Family Ministries stands determined to provide you with the resources, skills and spiritual support needed to go against the flow. Like Joshua, we declare, "Others might choose a different course, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!"
As families, we encounter various stages and situations throughout our lives. A newly engaged couple represents the earliest stages and eager grandparents represent the later stages. But, in between, we experience the many variations and complex combinations of life experiences. At ALCF it is our desire to help families stay connected to God's strength and wisdom in each and every stage of life. To do so, we offer a growing number of resources to support and strengthen your family.
Current programs include Safari Kids for children, The House for Jr. High kids, Generation Example for youth, Marriage Fundamentals (formerly known as Pre-Marriage/Pre-Engagement Class) for those just starting out, an annual Marriage Retreat and regular Couples' Night Out events for marrieds. We also have a group called "Moms' Time Out" for mothers of young children.
We know that family life is complicated and challenging. Yet, we believe that God's strength and wisdom will be more than sufficient to help your family grow and thrive! Our desire is to find as many ways as possible to help you stay connected to Him.
