Homeless Ministry Overview
ALCF's Homeless Ministry strives to encourage those in despair and convey hope through acts of service that exemplify Christ's unconditional love, proclaim the saving message of the Gospel and welcome those in need of finding their true home in Christ.
- Toiletry, blanket and clothing distribution (Click Here for Donation Information)
- Street and shelter outreach activites that occur throughout the year
- Written prayer requests distributed monthly to ministry team members for intercession
Help make lunches, sort and fold clothing donations, and assemble bags of toiletry items at ALCF, then go out and minister to those living on the streets or temporarily residing at the First Step for Families Shelter in San Mateo. If you are serving with kids, the shelter is a great place to visit so that both parents and their children have opportunities to interact with residents of all ages.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me. Matthew 25:35-36
