OASIS (Older Adults Strong In Service) Ministry

The O.A.S.I.S. (Older Adults Strong In Service) is committed to providing every man and woman at ALCF and our surrounding community the resources to grow in Christ. The need for ministry to older adults is growing and continues to grow. According to the Census Bureau, in the year 2000 the thirty-five million older adults in the U.S. represented 12.4% of the population. By 2030 the seventy million older adults in the U.S. will represent about 20% of the population. Within this growing population are many genuine needs (i.e., spiritual, health-related, mobility issues, etc.) 

The O.A.S.I.S. (Older Adults Strong In Service) is specifically tailored for men and women, 55 and older, looking to serve alongside their peers to reach out to serve those in need. Come join us and enjoy the Lord through evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service.

The O.A.S.I.S. (Older Adults Strong In Service) is a ministry designed to encourage, build, and grow senior adult men and women in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  This ministry reaches men and women through regular fellowship meetings, teaching, group discussion, prayer, and an array of events and activities.
