Nehemiah: A Team Leader After God's Heart
Instructor: Linda Fong
Have you ever been asked to do the impossible that required an absolute trust in God? What do you do when the mindset of your community is not in line with what you think is right? How do you deal with the challenges of teamwork? In this Old Testament book Nehemiah, a commoner turned governor, dared to exercise his great vision of who God is and what God can do through His servants. We will learn about Nehemiah’s unwavering trust in God as he rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem despite the formidable opposition and unpredictable reaction from religious leaders of their community. The book of Nehemiah showcases the very essence of teamwork and emphasizes the covenantal relationship of the Jewish people with their God. God’s unquestionable love and faithfulness to His people is just as real today as it was then.
