Do I need to be a member of Abundant Life to join a Growth Group?
Non-members are welcome to join a Growth Group. (Only hosts and facilitators need to be members of ALCF.) Children under 18 are encouraged to connect with the ministries that are age-appropriate for them, e.g. SAFARI Kids or Generation Xample.
What is the typical composition of a Growth Group?
Since Growth Groups are community-based, they generally are mixed groups that include men, women, couples, and singles from various age levels.
When do Growth Groups meet?
Most Growth Groups meet weekday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. However, some daytime groups are available. Please check the

What do Growth Groups study?
Growth Group lessons are adapted from the sermons given at ALCF each weekend and focus on the personal application of biblical principles to our lives. To view a few sample lessons, please go to the

Can children attend a Growth Group?

Is childcare provided?
Childcare is generally not provided. However, some Growth Groups do provide childcare. If this is necessary for you, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your desire to join a Growth Group that has childcare.
Can I check out a Growth Group before joining?
Sure. Feel free to visit one or two Growth Groups a couple of times before making a decision to join. Once you decide to join, just let the facilitator know.
