Baptism Candidate Information

Water Baptism Guidelines

Please bring the following items to prepare for your water baptism:

• A towel
• White socks
• Change of dry clothes
• Plastic bag for wet personal items
• Swim/shower cap for hair (optional)

Dress guidelines

All clothes should be colorfast and not bleed into the water. Swimsuits alone are not acceptable.

Men: Jogging suit or shorts, t-shirt
Women: Jogging suits, knee or longer length shorts or capris, dark colored t-shirts that are not too thin (some fabrics tend to cling when wet; please avoid this type or wear multiple layers)

Arrival time

Candidates typically meet 30 minutes before the start of service in the ALCF Sanctuary, outside the Prayer Room (all the way to the front and left).
