House & GX Parents Town Hall Meetings
“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an
Example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Dear Parents / Legal Guardian,
Welcome to GX and HOUSE for the school year 2013-2014. We are so excited to kick off this New Year. We wanted to make sure you knew about some changes and give you the opportunity to partner with us this year. As Pastor Daniel leaves the GX ministry we would like you to know that there is a team in place to continue God’s work in the GX and the HOUSE. We are pleased to introduce the following team to you:
House & GX Director Operations Small Groups Special Adventure
Pastor to Youth Ministry
Large Group Teaching Director for HOUSE
Pastor to Youth Ministry
Executive Associate Pastor
Large Group Information:
Large Group refers to our teaching time. Transformational teaching is done by a teaching team that has prepared Bible based curriculum intended not to simply impart knowledge, but to transform how we live. Through God’s truth and the conviction of the Holy Spirit we challenge our students to live God’s way in their world. An amazing team of teachers will deliver God’s message each week on a rotational schedule.
Small Group Information:
As Jesus modeled, we believe discipleship happens in a small group through transformational relationships. God has blessed our ministry with the most wonderful small group leaders. These servants are committed to meeting with your teens every week to build a community based on trust and transparency. They take the biblical teaching and challenge students to apply God’s word and principles to their daily lives. Our deep prayer is that each child would find acceptance in their specific small group, grow in community and be transformed by relationship. Each student that attends service regularly will be placed in a permanent small group with the same students and the same leader each week to foster the greatest opportunity for authentic community.
We believe when students are in our ministry they are our responsibility. As such, we are asking all students in the HOUSE and GX to sign in and out using our automated database system. They will each be finger scanned as a means for check in and out. We ask that students that check in stay for the entire duration of our services. Students will be release by their small group leader by one of two methods:
- if their parent has given consent to self check out, small group leaders will released at the close of the main service
- if their parent has not given consent to self check out, small group leaders will release when the parent or authorized adult arrives to pick up their student
This team is ready to serve your youth and your family as we allow God to continue to build our youth to be the light of the world. We are committed to providing a place that is focused on transformational teaching and builds transformational relationship they way Jesus modeled.
We would like to invite you to a meet and greet time where you can meet this team, hear more about what we envision for youth ministry and answer any questions you might have. Please drop in at one of the following town hall meetings:
Sunday, September 15th @ 1p in the HOUSE Theater – light lunch will be served

2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat -for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3 Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."
- Psalm 127: 1-5
