Elder Care
The intent of this ministry is to extend the love and compassion of Jesus Christ in a tangible way to those who are confined to convalescent homes. We do this by simply holding a hand, giving a hug, listening, and spending time in prayer and fellowship. This interactivel ministry brings God's love through worship, the word, prayer, and fellowship. Our elder care ministry outreach to various senior care facilities and ministers to those who are unable to attend church. The great thing about volunteering at a convalescent home are the many different ways one can serve. You can volunteer individually or as a group, and the level of commitment can range from daily to once a month. In this ministry you can team up with others to conduct on-site worship services, be a friend, teach at a bible study, feed those who cannot feed themselves, and much more...
The blessings of this ministry include getting to know some amazing saints who have walked with Jesus for decades, and seeing the Lord comfort people in the trials of growing old. We minister at the following locations:
